The glazing process is mainly applied to the surface coating of mirror coated paper and coated paper labels, with the purpose of increasing the gloss of the surface, and achieving the effects of anti-fouling, anti-moisture, and protecting patterns. According to the processing method, the glazing of the self-adhesive label material is divided into single paper glazing and roll paper glazing, among which the roll paper glazing is the most commonly used method in the self-adhesive label printing process.
The glazing of the roll paper sticker is carried out on a rotary labeling machine. The UV coating process is generally used, that is, a layer of UV coating oil is uniformly coated on the surface of the printed pattern. For water-based ink flexographic labels, glazing is an indispensable process.
Composite film with bottom paper lamination-on the labeling machine, using a special composite film with bottom paper, laminating under the action of the composite device. This is a traditional way of laminating. It has been replaced by the process of using a bottomless paper composite film.
Bottomless paper composite film lamination-carried out on the labeling machine, and the principle of film lamination is basically the same as the bottom paper composite film lamination process. Bottomless paper film relies on the surface smoothness (surface tension) of its own material to replace the bottom paper. After the adhesive is bonded to its surface, it can be peeled off without leaving any adhesive marks. The material used for the bottomless paper film is a BOPP film with low surface tension. Bottomless paper film has low cost and is currently the most widely used lamination material.
